I really like their concept of being able to build your own drink. Although they scoop your add-ons for you, you can fill up your cup with whatever beverage you like. Make sure to ask the cashier for a sample cup so you can try all the different options! I personally think their drinks are on the sweeter side, but adding more ice to water it down a bit helps. I have ordered a few of their food items, and for the most part they have a good flavor. The only thing I would point out is that the food is sometimes not salty enough. Highly recommend for the experience though!

Located near UCI and in the same plaza as Eholesome Choice. They used to have shaved ice years ago but now they just sell Taiwan small eats (appetizers noodles or rice dishes) and boba is their thing now and the indoor store has a fun vibe. Decorated like Taiwan classroom so you see little desks and lots of backpacks hanging around the store. Came here for boba. Many milk tea flavors. You buy a cup and fill it with your own combination. My favorite is oolong tea with egg pudding and boba. Yum!

This was a really fun find. The restaurant feels like a mini history lesson in midcentury Taiwanese culture. I loved the classroom desks and seats, the glass cases full of old toys, and magazines and other memorabilia on the walls. I would go back just to take in all of the things on the walls. The menu was a bit bewildering. You can get a combo of one food from group A and another from group B. Some items from group A and B were available a la carte, but others weren't. If you want lots of vegetables and few carbs, this is not the ideal place to go. You can get baby bok choy and various iterations of tofu a la carte, but most of the items are noodles or rice. I ordered the beef noodle soup. As I had hoped, the beef was tender and generous. The broth was not as complex as I anticipated, but it was still pretty good. The baby bok choy tasted like it was boiled separately, and it didn't take on the flavor of the broth. I liked the chewy noodles, but my mom didn't. My mom seemed to enjoy the miso seafood noodle soup broth, and the seafood itself was also generous. Something didn't agree with her afterwards, though. The bathrooms were clean and well-stocked. We ordered at the counter and got a buzzer, but the staff kindly brought our trays to the table. Overall, I enjoyed my visit. I might go back to try the boba tea.

Plenty of parking shared with other businesses. I got the combo meal of popcorn chicken and noodle soup. Light flavor and super yummy. Would come back!

I've been here multiple times and have tried everything from their drinks to snacks and dinner items. First off, I love the variety of teas and slushy you can choose from and all the topping as well. I love that you can mix and match everything and create your own drink variation. For snack foods, the fried fish cake is a must. It's so chewy and the perfect texture and seasoning. Popcorn chicken is also a must as well. For dinner items, their house fried rice is simple but delicious.
